Reading Challenge

Several of my friends and I are closing out 2014 and beginning 2015 with a friendly reading challenge.  These are the 13 books I'm reading by May 2015:

• Banned book: The Catcher in the Rye
• Book "everyone" read: Gone Girl
• Book written by a celebrity: Yes Please
• Award winning book: Looking For Alaska
• Reread a book you haven't reread before: Mockingjay
• Read a book you were supposed to read in high school: To Kill a Mockingbird
• Final book in a series you love: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
• Book of short stories/essays: The Opposite of Loneliness
• Book set in a place you want to visit: The Boys in the Boat 
• Book recommended by my friend Amanda:Slaughterhouse Five
• Book recommended by my friend Sarah: Pride and Prejudice
• Book recommended by my friend Anne: Wild
